My absolute favorite calculator is the console based Orpie. It's RPN, just like HP calculators. The last time it was packaged for Fedora was when Fedora 10 was released, and in order to make it easier to install (and to get some experience packaging) I decided to package this for the latest versions of Fedora.
The process entailed searching out and applying a patch originally from Debian to work around a newer library that had removed a few functions, and properly listing the dependencies in the spec file. After that, it was just a matter of building on the appropriate architectures and making the package review request.
This package is now available in the Fedora stable repository since 24.
